Artisan plant dyed textiles that tread gently on the earth.

Organic colours and botanical eco prints on natural fibres.

Sustainable. Ethical. Unique. Natural

Nuku, in Māori, means earth.

Papatūānuku is, in Te Ao Māori, the earth mother. All things are born from her and nurtured by her. Here at Nuku, I believe we have an opportunity to care for our earth mother by making eco friendly choices in the clothes we wear.  My kaupapa is simple - to work only with natural sustainable resources, permanently infusing colours and prints from local botanicals into each one-of-a-kind piece. This is slow clothing, a movement that nurtures a circular economy with zero waste. It's why a number of garments in the collection are preloved, redeemed through eco printing as wearable art.  When you purchase my work I promise you'll own something to treasure for a long long time, knowing you tread gently on this beautiful earth.
